Ever feel like there aren’t nearly enough hours in a day to get everything done? I think we all feel like that sometimes. This is especially true when your home or office is a mess and you have a lot to clean and organize, but very little time to do it.
As you know, I write this blog to help make your life much simpler by introducing you to a variety of methods to clean different parts of your home or office. In this article, I’m going to focus on the kitchen. Specifically, how to clean your kitchen as fast as possible, leaving you with more time to knock out the other things on your to-do list.
First and foremost, the most important part of your kitchen to keep clean is the sink. Keep in clean and empty all of the time, as it has a tendency to become cluttered. By continually maintaining your sink’s appearance, it will be so much easier for you to quickly clean the rest of the kitchen. So let’s get to it!
Every day cleaning
- Wipe down the sink after you wash the dishes
- Wipe down the stove top
- Wipe down the counters
- Sweep the floor
If you maintain your kitchen’s appearance on a daily basis, then the above steps shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes to complete.
Every week cleaning
- Mop the floor
- Wipe down the cabinets
- Wipe down the appliances
- Wash the dish rack
- Wipe down the inside of the garbage can
If your kitchen is well maintained, then the above steps should only take you a total of 30 minutes tops.
Every season cleaning
- Clean the inside of the refrigerator (see my article about cleaning your fridge for good tips)
- Clean the inside of the utensil drawers
- Clean the range hood filters
- Clean anything else that wasn’t on this list
The seasonal cleaning steps will take considerably longer than the weekly or daily steps. But at least you will only need to do these four times a year.
If you keep your sink clean throughout the day, clean certain areas on a daily basis, clean others every week, and deep clean the rest every season, then your kitchen is sure to look spic and span all of the time.
Speaking of spic and span, check out the Spic And Span Antibacterial Spray Cleanser. Use it for when you clean your countertops, stove top, cabinets, sink, tables, and just about anywhere else in your kitchen. Not only does is clean, but it also disinfects. Your kitchen is the last place that you would want bacteria to show up. After spraying the surface, just wipe it down with a microfiber cloth.
Now you have some easy steps to help you reduce the time that you spend cleaning your kitchen. And that gives you more time to read my blog. Everybody wins!
